  I had been at this Greek Restaurant before and had a ultimate craving for the Roast Lamb Dinner. I was very curious and to the negativity of the previous reviews and to really wanted to see if this entree was a thumb up or down. Meanwhile on some previous reviews some said it was dry and nor not  up to standard.
  
  One of the most famous Greek restaurants
  In Vancouver is Stepho's on Davies. Around 3:30 pm - Me and some of my friends came here for a late lunch and we were hungry, 6 guys who could really eat. Parking was easy to find around this time, but can also be a quite of challenge since there are a variety of businesses close by.
  
  When one enters the restaurant you can feel that this vibe, decor, simple echos Greek culture. The restaurant is quite spacious and at this time it was not as busy. There was time there were about 3-4 waitress there at that time and they seemed a little busy. However we got our seats and I was talking about the Roast Lamb to my friends and they too were convinced to try the Roast Lamb.
  
  When all of our orders have arrived - it was time to feast. For those who want to get food coma you have to order this. From the potatoes, rice, Greek salad, the slab of Roast Lamb. Those was simply delicious, tender, juicy which melted in your mouth. We were simply in heaven!
  
  Service wise - she was very busy running around to cater to the customers, I would of given 5 stars but she forgot to get us additional water and the bill several times. During this time, for some reason the customers were lining up and getting busy. She did her best. Management should be more careful about that.
  
  Other than that I would come back again when I'm hungry or if I haven't eaten for a week.

  I'm not really sure why people line up for Stepho's anymore? 25 years ago this was a reputable establishment with decent food at a great price.
  My recent experience left me sadly disappointed.
  Terrible service
  Terrible food
  Outdated interior
  Filthy bathroom
  Filthy kitchen(yes I could see clear in when I walked by).
  Stepho's needs to be shut down, cleaned up and reopened under new management who actually care.

  I'm a little unsure why this establishment has been around for so long, it seemed like the food and service were subpar.
  
  Came here for weekend lunch, my boyfriend ordered the spare ribs and I went more classic with the moussaka. The food took a while to arrive, but also not unexpected for a Greek establishment (woops). I am a huge Greek salad fan but just did not find myself enjoying my Greek salad! The onions were super pungent and difficult to stomach, and the bell peppers were also in large chunks. I tried a bit of the spare ribs and the taste was very average. My moussaka carried a similar theme; there were such large chunks of garlic and zucchini and eggplant in it as well! All the food seemed very hastily put together and not served with the tender caring love that I am used to from a Greek establishment. It also took forever to find someone to ask more more water, even though the restaurant wasn't overwhelmingly busy.
  
  What more can I say? A very average experience overall. Sad that Stepho's won't be on my favourites / go-to list because the food just didn't have me wanting to take another bite.

  Stepho's is always wonderful, but this one in particular seems to be overstaffed and as such, gave me a poorer experience :(
  
  My cousin and I waited at the front door for a good 15-20 minutes before we could get a waiter to seat us. Then after we ordered, some of our food was badly burnt. Overall, would not prefer this Stepho's over the other until I know this one has been able to give their current staff a break by hiring more people to help out.

  I'm only giving this place a 4 star because of the superb service.
  
  We were seated immediately and our waitress came to greet is right away. She disclosed that she was fairly new to the restaurant but ended up doing an amazing job. She was friendly and checked on us quite often during the meal
  
  As for the food, it was okay. I got a large pork souvalki dinner and it came with 2 skewers, rice, Greek salad, 3 roasted potatoes and bread. The meat was a bit dry for my liking and the rice was rather bland. I also got their drink special which was sangria and it was delicious! However, it came with 1 maraschino cherry instead of "fruits" as in their description
